At Ayutthaya [1350-1767], the former capital of Siam, you will see the extravagant Royal Summer Retreat Palace of Bang Pa In which is set in highly decorated gardens, as well as the impressive temples for example Wat Mahatat represents a sand stone Buddha image is embedded in the Po Tree , the picturesque Khmer influence Wat Chaiwattanaram and ruined enormous Chedi follow to the UNESCO’s World Historical Sites Heritage in 1991.
You will have a chance to take a private boat cruising along the scenic Chao Pra Ya river. This tour has an early start so you can see as much as possible before the day gets too hot (around 1 PM). For those who wish to see elephants, you are able to visit Ayutthaya’s Elephant Kraal.
